I’m Lauren Mankin, and I’m a junior at Central. I have always enjoyed making art and decided to pursue it a little more outside of art class at school a few years ago. I ended up finding out about Kent Bellows, an artist-mentoring program through the Jocelyn, and after a few tries I got in. Kent Bellows is where I make most of my stuff. I couldn’t tell ya what my style is yet, but I like surrealism and take a lot of my inspiration from local young artists and artists I’ve found on social media.
